Doll Show

Okay how come I forget how tiring a doll show can be. Four hours and I feel like dawn of the dead.

However I think each of my boys did well. Keahi *who went with us* got two pairs of shoes and a Ron Weasely casual outfit. Titian and AleX got a really great winter wool coat. Chirp got some little outfits from MacDonalds Madame Alexander toys. The big boys got material for velvet pants and batiste shirts. It was hugely fun and [info]barbana went with me and my mom and sister. Was a party. But pushing mom's wheelchair and being vigilant was pretty tiring. Mom carried Keahi for half the show, but I needed to keep checking for size and not wanting her to bond with him...because he's about the easiest boy to bond with of any I've met.

So now it's time for me to make a grill cheese sandwich, find some advil and settle for the afternoon and evening.

Oh, just for [info]sedens A pic of the beautiful sweater you made Kapono, and what he's wearing with it.

And I asked the boys present when the sweater got here who wanted a sweater from Aunty Cynthia and they all raised their hands. Even the spoiled Dollshe boy who now owns one.

Comments

That sweater looks great on him! How funny your boys are - they know the squeaky wheel gets the grease!
They're very entertaining, and I think that is the point of this hobby. They make me smile a lot. And yes, once one has something special they all feel they should get one too.
*raising my hand too*
LOL yep! I thought about that too.
Such cute pix, everybody with their hand up!
Yep yep, looks like an easy question.
That sweater is awesome ^o^ I love Kapono's shorts :D
I love his shorts too, just maybe not with the sweater. Thank you and I'm sure the sweater's maker thanks you too. *g*
YAY for the doll-show haul, though the whole trotting-around-the-show experience can be very, very tiring--even without maneuvering a wheelchair AND managing a resin entourage into the bargain.

And how cool are those board shorts with the sweater? Two thumbs up for Kapono's fashion sense! ;-)

Big hugs all around for your boys, bad flatterers that they are . . . but Keahi and Hart and AleX and Titian will have to come and visit for a nice *long* time if they want sweaters, because I don't have any small boys to help me check the proportions as I knit.

You like the combination huh? Gosh maybe i shouldn't have trusted you with the color choices. *GGGGGGG*

Well let's see, little Titian is the Barbie Ken doll size, Keahi and Hart are the size of Matt Tonner dolls. *g* Does that help?
Great shots! :)
