Sensible dammit

I had to say no to Yukinojo. I'm really down about it, but it's the right thing to do right now.

I've got to deal with unemployment, packing, house hunting. *shakes head*
Life wins sometimes.

Ahhh, don't worry, I'm a big believer in good dolly karma, and you doing the right thing for yourself now just might mean you get another shot at him when you're better prepared.
I'll keep my eyes open, just in case.
^_^
thanks and I think in a couple months this all may be do-able. Just right now I don't think my brain will accept more debt and my savings is all I've got to live on for awhile.
With the economy, you are being smart.......I'm actually trying to sell a doll now to pay off a small debt that I have, because I know I'll feel much better once I do.
*hugs*
*hugs* Believe me, j, I understand. Totally. And I also understand the internal wrestle and the temporary down-ness. It will pass. It does sound as though you did the right thing.
It's so easy to do mindless things. And though I know he'd be a good fit, it's just the wrong time. Depending how things go some of the present resin may have to go, so I don't want to make things worse.

Still I am looking forward to finding a new place to live. And I've got a great little location I'm looking at even now.
Aww, sorry to hear that Joey, good news is though that the doll market is saturated so you may have another chance on down the road! you got your Tanned "B" boy right?
It's okay, I was just priming myself for it and then had a moment of *this is reality* hit me.

And it'll be okay, but for awhile I thought he'd be the one. He's really pretty, but not for me for now.
you said yourself it's the right thing to do. I am sure if you keep your head right everything will turn out as it should be. No point putting yourself into unnecesary debt and worry. It's not like he will never come up for sale ever again, one day he will be yours!
Absolutely right. I'm not used to having to wait. But I need things to settle down here for a bit and then I can think of purchases.
This sounds very familiar living on dwindling savings. I've GOT to find some kind of job in January. *head desk*

I do understand your concerns.
I'm in the uneviable position of considering selling the house in this awful market. Still if I can pay off the house by selling it I'll be happy.
Awwwwwwww--but yes, this is definitely the smart decision. The new place sounds intriguing, and the right housing beats resin any day! (Plus, as everybody else has said, the one good thing about the flood of new dolls combined with the economic crunch is that amazing dolls keep cycling through the secondary market . . . and cycling through . . . and cycling through . . .)

Kanbei sends manly Yukinojo greetings, and says he's sure one of his brothers is destined to live with you--it's just a matter of the right one happening along at the right time. :-)
I'm really hoping to find the right house this month. Hopefully at a decent price so that I can take my time selling this one. Still it's great to know where I want to go.
I agree, you are being smart ... dolly karma has a way of working ... eventually you will find him with you, just not now.
I feel things will start picking up towards spring
I think you could be right. I'm fairly optimistic about this coming year as well. But boy will I be glad when things settle out.
