So a little dolly story.

I'm not sure how many of you know that I make porcelain dolls. I adore the process of it. Anyway was talking tonight to a friend here in the country and she was going on about a woman she saw on Dr Phil who was very attached to a baby doll. Saying how odd it was. And I mentioned that I've often made baby dolls to people's wishes. My sister in law mentioned I'd made one for her when her first grandchild was born. A sweet little blond green eyed boy. I found a great wavy boy wig and it just is amazingly like her g-child. She keeps in in a glass cabinet.

Well our friend started playing with it. And you could see the conversion of the *dolls are weird* to *this little guy is terrific*.

Fun stuff. I so have to get back to the clay.

My new big boy has arrived. Bodiless for a few days, but yay!!! He's a gorgeous, stunning, beautiful Volks Eden, faceup by thelyn. and I can't even express how in love with hime I am. He's very Keiki_boys style and attitude. Wow.

Finally feel like I've completed thw move. The new house is terrific, I do love the spaces. There are still many boxes, but this morning little Keahi and Milly have come out to play for a little while.

And yeah I've done well with the no new doll thing...except there's a new lovely boy headed my way. I just could not let him go by. I did try, but he looks so perfect for my group.

Now my friends I'm looking for a short-ish SD13 type body. Any thoughts?

I'm moved to the country. Finally. Sorry for not keeping up with my flist. I have missed you madly.

I've lost my camera, they're packed somewhere I'm sure.

I need to find poor keahi some shorts, it's way to hot to still be in long sleeves and knit cap. He is barefoot though.

I'm off to Tracy again. Gonna pay for the house, land, keys etc. Today is that day.

That bracelet from Dollectable last year...yeah that one, my cat's favorite toy. For a bit I thought she'd lost her mind chasing and running and hopping. *lesigh* it's been donated to the kitty toy basket.

Dolls are making me happier today. I think I've got a split to get the littlefee outfit for Val.

Ritsuka is loveless?

I had to say no to Yukinojo. I'm really down about it, but it's the right thing to do right now.

I've got to deal with unemployment, packing, house hunting. *shakes head*
Life wins sometimes.

So you all know I pretty much have completed my heart's desire dolls. I mean literally the only dolls left are impossible.

Dunno what to do. Another tallish boy.

So today I'm doing the sorting the material thing. I've decided to halve the amount of material/fabric. So right now I'm collecting it all in one place.

The horror!

Now I have to decide if the faux fur is part of the deal or not.

I found about 6 or 7 tee shirts in with the fabric. No idea how they got there. Half of those are going to goodwill. Normally I'd keep them for rags, but seriously how many rags does one person need. Don't answer, that wasn't a question - was more rhetorical.

Anyone local need cotton prints or fur?

Do you ever look at your dolls and feel like they've just quit being who you thought they were.

I'm hoping I'm going through a phaze of disinterest in about everything doll or drawing or anything related.

Well except for Keahi, which is why his pic is on here today.
