1. How many dolls do you currently own? How many would you like to own?
Around 20. Around 20. I like them all, I really adore all the different sizes and looks. Though my kids are all rather happy or thoughtful.

2. New life, new house - everything you had hoped?

Retired life rocks. New house is so in process. But yeah love the openness of the house and the area. I think the house was redone to take down lots of walls. I don't mind boxey but the open living to kitchen area is neat. No one can get lost, everyone is part of every conversation. Nothing is everything, but my brother is working on an artist studio in my garage and boy is that going to make it incredibly close.

3. Pets?

My kitty Shadow, best and smartest kitty in the world. A black tuxedo kitty of 14 years.

4. Is there a year of your life that you consider to have been Epic?

hmmm, interesting. I have to say that the first year in the Army was totally amazing in the coming of age way. Then the year I learned to snow ski was incredible, unhappily I did do up my knee and was under the sway of cocaine, but other than that hitting the slopes from Friday till Sunday for an entire winter, yeah way cool. And then this past year, since I quit working last November - another very much coming of age again. Growing up, making big changes and really enjoying so much of it.

5. Is there a perfect writing situation in which words flow for you?

Writing is like giving blood. It's really good once they take the needle out.

So while I wasn't watching Keahi and Justin became close buddies. Not sure what the future holds. I need to get the rest of the MSD sized boys home again.



I almost forgot to mention that Kane, Keahi, Shan, Kapono and AleX have recently celebrated their 4th anniversary. Today is actually the day that Shan came to live with me four years ago. And yeah time flies.

The Pukis were really excited about the pumpkin I bought and they all decided to dress for halloween. Only they all wanted to be princes! So yeah what can ya do;

Good grief. I think Soom may have gotten to me.

So I just started using word recognition. With the Dragon NaturallySpeaking. It takes a little getting used to but it's easier than the earlier versions.

So anyway the cold is better still, achy and chilly. Need more books. I think I've read three mysteries so far, one was good.

Hopefully we'll take pictures this weekend. The boys are looking good.

Shan is finally back home. And the twins!!!

Back to trying creativity. These two started out as two tiny baby dolls from the same mold. I resculpted them for fun and to learn a little of what could be done with a little extra porcelain clay. This is after the first fire.

Yeah well I hate to talk about health and stuff here, but I apologize for the lack of art. Pulled back muscle followed by new meds that gave me vertigo. But yeah back is good and I've gotten used to the new stuff for the most part so.

Mom called yesterday to tell me she'd received a long narrow box in the mail. And of course without thinking I said, "Oh, that must be the body from Korea."

Mom's phone: Crickets.

me "Doll body, doll...I have a head that needed a body."

her "Oh! Okay we thought it might be fireplace tools."

me...nods at phone, laughs. "Sorry, just wanted to be sure it got here."

her "What's EMS anyway?"

So my minimee Eric now has a body. I'm working on blue eyes, so far nothing appeals that much. I have found a couple blond wigs, but not too sure. I'd like to find something with no bangs.

In other news watched Doctor Who and Blood Ties while I was out of service. Uhmmm didn't Tanya Huff write Henry as bi? I've watched 3 eps and all straight. Oh well.

I've done a couple drawings, hopefully will do shading today.

Having the construction crew over tomorrow, gotta go shopping.

Back from my wanderings. Pulled a back muscle, taking excellent drugs. Expect to be back in the game in a day or two.

Off to San Jose for the weekend. A mini vacation to do artwork, take care of a kitty, and just hang out with some old friends.

I'm actually very much looking forward to it all. Will take pics of the porcelain stuff - should be interesting.

So yeah am getting a minimee Eric. 3 weeks ago I thought True Blood sucked...in a bad way...wait, ahem I thought True Blood the TV series was bah boring and now I'm addicted. Having read Dead until Dark and then 4 more I finally *got* the show. And yeah, who knew.

My internet has been hit and miss this week. Maybe the heat or just the carrier, so I'll be catching up on my 30 in 30 today.

It totally disappeared last night in the middle of a conversation, so sorry about that. Was quite strange.

Oh and I just discovered all my August entries think they're from September. Since I don't date them that was weird too. all fixed now.

Okay off to scan some artwork.
